10/06/07 - Joseph Williams, Bobby kimball and Steve lukather speaks about the Agoura Hills concert >>> Toto

Message from Joseph :

I had a BLAST singing with the band again. I am so grateful to the whole band for asking me to share the stage with them. What a great line up of THE most talented musicians and sound crew. I feel truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with them. I would gladly go to the ends of the earth for my friends Bobby, Simon, Greg, Lee, and Tony. These guys make me want to be a better musician!
And I would go to hell and back for my dear friend and brother Luke!
Oh wait! I've already done that...
My prayers go out to Mike Porcaro for a speedy recovery!
Love to all Toto fans everywhere.

JW.

Message from Bobby :

Hi Nick. It was great to have Joseph out with us last night. He sounds better than ever, and we all had a wonderful time. Joe and I traded verses on "Hold The Line" and "Rosanna", and of course, he sang the verses on "Pamela" and "Stop Loving You". It went very well, and I think since Trevor Lukather also played on Hold The Line, itwas a "once in a lifetime" event last night. It was a crowded stage, but we had more fun than we've had in a long while. Thank you Joseph and Travor, for making it a great evening...........Bobby

Message from Steve :

He KILLED IT!! It was great to hnag with him and to me he never sounded better ever!
He will be back..
L.

28/01/07 - Bobby Kimball speaks about Joseph Williams and about the 30th anniversary tour >>> Bobby Kimball

(extract from the interview available on the www.totoweb.org website or all in english here)

- For the 30 years Tour, do you already talk with the guys about the city or rooms ? We know that Joseph Williams and Steve Porcaro will be in, and how do approach the vocals parts with Joseph? You guys announced some kind of huge gig for that tour! Is it possible to hear your own songs? Imagine a 'Woodstock' by Toto? Maybe some stuff rarely perfomed on stage?
We're still in the planning stages of the 30th anniversary tour, so it's too soon to say how this will go. Joseph and I will share vocals when he comes out with us. It will be a fantastic tour, and I'm sure a lot of fun for everyone. How great to share a tour with everyone who had anything to do with Toto over the years. We're all in the "big family", and looking forward to this.

- About Joseph, do you know him outside the band, in all days life? Did you interess of his own albums, etc.. Do you think that he could be a 'new member' or staying a guest on futures Toto's albums? And what do you think really about Joseph ?
Joseph and I are good friends. We've done several projects outside of Toto together, and I've done some vocals on 2 of his CDs. We have a lot of fun together.
