The Seventh One

(from left to right : Jeff Porcaro, Mike Porcaro, Steve Lukather, David Paich and Joseph Williams)
Album released in April, 1988. The best one since Toto IV. The most accomplished and the most varied one. The production is given to George Massenburg and Bill Payne (Little Feat). It includes the hits 'Stop lovin you', 'Pamela' and the great 'Home of the brave'. This album is number 1 in Japan. Patti Austin, James Pankow, Tom Scott and Linda Ronstadt are in the chorus as Jon Anderson is on the single version of 'Stop lovin you'. Toto sets off for a world tour again and asserts himself as one of the greatest group. At the end of the tour, the group separates. One song -'Mad about you'- will not be kept but it will be on the album 'Mindfields' (1999).
